Nashville, Tennessee, United States of America

Nashville has been nicknamed the ‘music city’. But while it has a vibrant music scene spanning many genres its true heart is as the home of country music. If you are a country music fan Nashville is the place to go with a honky tonk on every corner, where you can enjoy a delicious burger, cold beer and live music.

Top music-related attractions include the Johnny Cash Museum, The Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, and the historic RCA Studio B, where many famous artists including Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison and Willie Nelson recorded hits.

Havana, Cuba

Music and dancing are at the centre of the culture of Cuba’s capital, Havana. If you want to experience music in a whole new way and get carried away with the rhythm of the city, then book a ticket to Havana. With its 1950s vibe still firmly intact, Havana is a unique place to visit and provides a stark contrast to other major cities in the Western world.

And of course no trip to the home of The Beatles would be complete without a trip to its iconic Cavern club, where the band played almost 300 times, after their first appearance in 1961. The Cavern is still a thriving music venue today and has hosted an incredible list of stars including Oasis, Queen, Elton John and the Rolling Stones.

Manchester, United Kingdom

We might be biased, but if you are looking for a UK city with a star-studded musical heritage then Manchester is it. Think The Bee Gees, Oasis, The Happy Mondays, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, New Order, Simply Red, Elbow, Take That, The 1975 and so many more. Manchester is still home to many live music venues and if you want to learn more about its musical heritage you can join a Manchester Music sightseeing tour, where you can visit the places that inspired the soundtrack of this incredible city.
